A cultural fabric in Prince Edward Island that features live traditional music, dance and storytelling
that has been passed down through many ancestral roots. In the earlier days these
social gatherings or “Ceilidhs” (kitchen parties) were held at someone’s home.
Today’s Ceilidhs are typically performed in a rural townhall, parish or community center.

From fiddle to guitar to step dancing and hands clapping, the music reflects true islander soul.
This is a “must see” live performance that will leave you with an appreciation of nostalgic folk culture.
